Your vacuum cleaner’s overheat protection circuit breaker has been activated. You should clean the motor filter, replace the filter (depending on the model), and replace the dust bag or empty the dust container. Then wait 30 minutes before restarting your appliance.

If your vacuum cleaner is equipped with a HEPA filter, replace the HEPA filter every 6 months (depending on how often you use your appliance).

Make sure that the attachments, tube, and flexible hose are not completely or partially blocked and that the filters are not clogged. You should also use your vacuum cleaner’s attachments to get the most out of it, using the brushes best suited to the surface in question or reaching the most difficult-to-access areas.

Pull the cord all the way out and press the cord-rewind button. If the problem persists, contact an authorized FLAMA technical support service.

You should replace the dust bag when it loses its suction power, produces an unusual noise, or makes a whistling sound.

If you are not using a vacuum cleaner designed for solids and liquids, you must not vacuum wet surfaces or any type of liquid. You must also not vacuum hot substances or ultrafine substances (plaster, cement), large sharp debris (glass), harmful products (solvents, paint strippers), corrosive products (acids, detergents), or flammable and explosive substances (gasoline- or alcohol-based).

This problem may have several causes:

- The container or bag is full; change or empty it (depending on the model);
- The filtration system is saturated: clean or replace it;

If your appliance is equipped with a paper bag, the answer is no. When the bag is full, throw it away because the pores on the bag’s surface are saturated, reducing suction efficiency and potentially damaging the motor. If your vacuum cleaner is equipped with a fabric bag, the answer is yes. You can simply wash it. To do so, remove the bag from its compartment, open it, and empty it into the rubbish bin. Wash the bag and leave it to dry for at least 24 hours. Finally, put it back in its compartment.
