FAQ'S

A mica heater is a type of electric heater that uses mica panels to radiate heat. This material enables fast and efficient heating by combining convection and radiant heating, making it ideal for medium- to large-sized spaces. Mica heaters are quiet and lightweight, and they start warming the room within a few seconds.

The thermostat of a mica heater automatically adjusts according to the room temperature. Once the set temperature is reached, the appliance reduces or stops heating, helping maintain a consistent climate and avoid excessive energy consumption. FLAMA models include an adjustable thermostat for greater control and energy efficiency.

Yes. One of the main benefits of a mica heater is its heating speed. Mica heats up almost instantly, providing effective warmth in less than 1 minute. Ideal for those looking to heat rooms quickly on colder days.

The energy consumption of a mica heater depends on the power used. A common 2,000 W model consumes around 2 kWh per hour, which corresponds to approximately €0.40 per hour (depending on the supplier and energy tariff). Since it heats up quickly and has a thermostat, it may be more efficient than other models.

No. One of the advantages of a mica heater is its quiet operation, as it has no fans or noisy moving parts. It is ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, or workspaces.

Yes, as long as the model has safety systems such as overheating and tip-over protection. FLAMA models are equipped with these features, allowing safe use for extended periods.

Make sure the appliance is switched off and cool. Clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive products and do not allow water to enter the ventilation grilles. Regular maintenance extends the lifespan of your mica heater.
