Yes. However, we recommend not using rinse aid or salt, as they may darken the filters. We also recommend using a wash cycle that is not too long and at moderately low temperatures. If you wash the filters by hand, you can submerge them in water with mild detergent and then drain them, cleaning them thoroughly and drying them with a dry, lint-free cloth.

The extraction capacity of a range hood does not depend solely on the motor. It also depends on an effective extraction system and proper ventilation, which together determine the system’s ability to extract the maximum airflow over a given period.

If the noise occurs only at maximum speed, the problem is probably caused by high pressure at the suction system outlet. This means that the suction duct is too long or too narrow, or that it has bends. Check the installation and, if possible, use smooth pipes to solve the problem.

The extraction capacity of your extractor hood depends mainly on the size and height of the kitchen. For a kitchen approximately 10 m² in size and 2.5 m high, an extractor hood with an extraction rate of 180 m³/h will be sufficient. For other dimensions, a good estimate is to choose a capacity that replaces the kitchen’s air 10 to 12 times per hour.
