Yes! They’re ideal for grilling vegetables such as peppers, courgettes, aubergines, and asparagus. Simply cut the vegetables into thin slices, brush them with olive oil, and grill for 3–5 minutes, until tender and slightly caramelised.

Yes, these types of grills are ideal for use in kitchens, balconies, and even small apartments, as they produce less smoke and odors compared with charcoal or gas grills.

If you are in a windy location, the grill surface may cool down, so the food will take longer to grill.

Most grills can be disassembled for easy cleaning. After each use, switch off the appliance, unplug it, and wait until it has cooled completely before cleaning it. Never immerse the control box or heating element in water. The grill grate, tray, and water reservoir (if applicable to your grill) should be washed by hand with hot water, a soft sponge, and a non-abrasive detergent. The heating element must not be washed. If it becomes dirty, wait until it has cooled completely and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Always keep the drip tray filled with water (depending on the model). This allows the juices and fat released from the food to disperse in the water, which in turn prevents smoke from being released and flames from forming. Some smoke is released during the first use, which is normal, but this should not persist for long. If the smoke persists, make sure that the grill has been properly cleaned.

The water placed in the reservoir for cooking will create a cool zone beneath the grilling surface, where the fat will drip and remain, preventing it from burning on the heating element and producing smoke or causing flare-ups.

Only wooden, plastic, or thermoplastic utensils may be used. Metal utensils may damage the plate’s non-stick coating.
