Choose a theme for your decorations
Start by defining the theme that will set the tone for your table decorations. With a clear idea in mind, it will be easier to put everything into practice. There are many possibilities: you can choose red and green tones, go for metallic shades, or take our favorite option and prepare a simple table inspired by nature. If you choose the latter, you can use greenery or other natural elements such as small tree branches or pine cones. We’re sure they’ll make excellent centerpieces!
Do it yourself
Once you’ve chosen the theme, make a list of everything you’ll need. Wash and iron the tablecloths and napkins, check that you have enough crockery and cutlery, borrow or make some of the decorative pieces yourself. Get the family involved and prepare, for example, the centerpieces and other small details such as napkin rings.

This is the perfect time to use the crockery, glasses and cutlery that are usually stored away in drawers and cupboards. Those antique, more elaborate pieces that we don’t use every day but that add a special touch to any festive occasion. You’ll see that the end result will be much richer!

Surprise your family when they sit down at the table with small gifts capable of melting hearts. Out of ideas? Leave a keepsake at each place setting that guests can take home, write a special message or add name tags for each guest.
